  Description:   Vintage Mexican sterling silver belt buckle with a 18K gold Aztec calendar symbol in the center. The Aztec calendar looks like a solid piece that was applied to the silver.
Signed "Hand-Made,  PLATADE, 10K, 18K and sterling". Weight is 47.7 grams, circa 1940-50s

Taxco and Guadalajara and Mexico city have a long history of beautiful and inventive jewelry designs in sterling silver.

Condition:   There is a nick in the Aztec calendar as seen in photo.
